Defense Verdict - Colin Campbell obtained a verdict
for the defendant in Turner v. Crestview Electric, Inc. in
Boulder District Court. Plaintiff had alleged he was injured
and sustained a mild brain injury when he was struck on the head by
a falling tool belt as he walked past a ladder Defendant's employee
was using to perform work on the roof. The Plaintiff's final
demand before trial was $165,000.
Defense Verdict - Clif Latiolais obtained a verdict
for the defendant in Alexander v. Mills in Denver District
Court on December 10, 2009. Plaintiff had alleged soft tissue
and orthopedic injuries arising from a rear-end automobile accident.
Plaintiff's final demand before trial was $1 million.

brief on behalf of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and
Colorado Civil Justice League in Colorado Coffee Bean, LLC
et al. v. Peaberry Coffee, Inc. et al. Colorado Court of Appeals No.
2009CA0130 addressing the Colorado Consumer Protection Act.
On February 18, 2010 the Colorado Court of
Appeals announced a ruling favorable to the position taken by the
